On Wednesday, December 7th, the Richland Springs Elementary and Junior High UIL academic contestants travelled to Brooke-smith, Texas for the district 30 meet. The Coaches accompanying the students were; Bonnie Burkhart, Heather Slater, Kristen Loudermilk, Valerie Gossett, Sue Ransom, Paula Miller, Amanda Brand and Nelson Smith. Kathy Brockman came out of retirement for one day to help with the meet. Mrs. Brockman’s assistance is greatly appreciated as is the long hours and hard work put in by all the coaches in order to prepare the students for success in this year’s competition.
