Ruby Mae Schoen passed away December 11, 2011in San Saba, Texas, at the age of 89.Ruby was born in Church Point, Louisiana, August 3, 1922. She married Willie B. Schoen, October 5, 1944 in Opelousas, Louisiana. After marriage the couple made their home in Priddy, Texas.Ruby is survived by her children, Dana and her husband, John Wells of San Saba, TX; Willie Schoen and his wife, Allie of Brookesmith, TX; grandchildren, Trint Tupin and Amanda, Rusty Tupin and Amber,Derek Schoen and Heather, Mitsy Schoen, Carter Wells, Jason Wells; great grandchildren, Cole Tupin, Maggie Tupin, Rylee Tupin; brothers, Bernard Sonnier of Louisiana; Paul Sonnier and wife, Linda of Louisiana; sister, Freda Landry of Louisiana; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.Ruby was preceeded in death by her parents, Louis and Louisette Sonnier; her husband, Willie B. Schoen; sister-in-law, Pat Sonnier; brother-in-law, Hubert Landry.Service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Stacy-Wilkins Chapel Goldthwaite, Texas with Paul Kirby officiating.
