It was a short week at Cherokee ISD due to the Thanksgiving holidays. On Monday, the junior high Indians traveled to Menard. Both teams fought hard but came up short of a victory. Also on Monday, the high school Lady Indians hosted Victory Life. The Lady Indians won 87-2. This week the Indians and Lady Indians will travel to Gustine for their tournament. Next weekend, December 8-10, is the annual Cherokee Tournament. Parents, a sign-up sheet is being sent around for students to sign up to bring something for our Hospitality Room. It is a well-known fact that coaches and referees sign up early to come to our tournament especially for our Hospitality Room! Let’s keep that tradition going.
