We received just a trace of rain in the last few days and a whole lot of wind! It was pretty nippy this morning with some frost. We were sorry to hear of the passing of Dale Buttler. He was a friendly face at The Little Yellow Duck Cafe which he ran with his wife, Nell, and the rest of the family. We will miss him and we send our sympathy to his family. Phillip Teague joined his parents, Carroll and Nelda Teague, for Thanksgiving. I know they were happy to get to spend time with him. Michael and Marilyn Suber and I went to Rex and Amy Tucker’s house in Brady for Thanksgiving. Joining us there were Bethany Suber, Stacie, Santos and Sophia Elizondo, Roger and Martha Tucker, Myrta Overby as well as Jax, Georgia and Jesse Tucker. After eating all that good food, some adjourned to the living room for football and some engaged in shooting baskets to work off some of the calories. Jax was finally able to beat his Mamo at free throws! The Richland Springs Coyotes continue on their journey to another state championship as they beat Calvert last week by a score of 72-22. It is pretty unheard of to defeat Calvert by that margin and especially by halftime! The Coyotes now face Newcastle this Friday evening at Tuscola for the semi-final game. We will be listening to the broadcast with Jason and John . They do a good job and make us feel almost like we are at the game. Good luck Coyotes!
