Steve Boyd would like to announce his intention to run on the Republican ticket for the position of Sheriff-Tax Assessor Collector in San Saba County. Steve has recently retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety where he served as a Texas Ranger in order to seek the office of Sheriff. "I believe that all citizens and visitors to San Saba deserve to be treated fairly regardless of your last name or the amount of money you have in the bank." Steve plans to use his proven track record of working with State, Local, and Federal Agencies to make the San Saba Sheriff's Office a respected professional office. "We will vigorously seek out and present for prosecution cases against those dealing drugs in our community." Steve has named Darrin Barker as his Campaign Treasurer.
