Last week we really had a great time because we got to spend time with some friends and family. Our children, grandchildren and even the newest grandson that was born just before thanksgiving got to be with us. We spent time together doing different things. Some worked on puzzles, others were outdoors exploring in the woods and one afternoon my wife and son took the grandchildren to a dirt tank to fish. The point is we had a great time being together. Family is very important to me and I have tried to instill that in my family. I love them and want them to know that. Now I may not always approve of what they do or the way they do it but I still love them. Love in our family reminds me of something in the Bible. God loves us very much no matter what, and His very nature is love, (1John 4:8-10&16, John 3:16). He loves everyone and does not want anyone to perish, but that everyone would be saved, (Luke 9:55). God even proved His love for us by sending or giving His most precious thing to us, Jesus Christ His only begotten Son, (Romans 5:8, Ephesians 1:4). The sad part is that many will reject Christ and not trust in Him for salvation and part of the punishment is they will spend forever separated from God, (John 3:17-19). See you in Church next Sunday.
