Next Thursday, December 8th ladies of the First United Methodist Church are hosting our Christmas Luncheon for Fellowship of Christian Women. Hope you will make your plans to join us at 11:30 that morning. The luncheon will feature Christmas Holiday Foods so please bring any of your favorite holiday foods to the downstairs fellowship hall to share around the serving tables. Ladies in their 40’s will be treated this month. A nursery can be available at the same location if you contact Sharon Hayes in advance for her to make arrangements. Do remember to bring food for your children if you wish for them to eat during the luncheon time. Music will be the theme of the program and each church can present one Christmas song so search your music books for some special music to share. We understand the Lometa Bell Choir is planning to join us to represent the Methodist Churches. If you do not have any music, a Christmas story or a poem can also be presented. Hope you will be able to come that day to share music with our county churches and please note this luncheon is TWO WEEKS EARLY as we do not want to be meeting Christmas week.
