Coming soon to a neighborhood near you…the 2011 edition of the ever-popular San Saba Garden Club Christmas Tour of Homes! Scheduled for Sunday, December 11th, from 3 – 7 pm, the walking tour will include seven decorated homes at the west end of Commerce Street in San Saba. The street will be blocked from automobile traffic to give the tourists safety as they walk up and down the street, enjoying the holiday spirit of those who live here. Golf carts will be provided for those needing assistance. Three homes along the route will be open. Ken and Kynda Jordan, Bud and Celia Bell and David and Alesha Rogers will welcome those on the tour into their homes. Prepare to be amazed! As the day turns into evening, the lights will beckon you to enjoy a cup of hot cider and a cookie as carolers stroll the short tour route. Tickets will be ten dollars at the gate, which will be at the roadblock where Westview Terrace and Commerce Street meet.This is a major fundraiser for the San Saba Garden Club.
