Morris Sheppard Lindsey Jr., 80, passed away Friday November 10, 2011, in San Saba. The graveside service was held in the San Saba Cemetery, Saturday November 12, 2011.Morris was born October 18, 1931 in San Saba, Texas to Morris and Gwen (Hamrick) Lindsey, Sr.Morris served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1953, and was honorably discharged. Morris was a Carpenter by trade, a Government and private Trapper and an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved being in the great outdoors.Survivors include one daughter, Jayne and husband, David of Blanket, Texas; two granddaughters, Fawn Perry and (Effrin) Reyna, of Blanket; Starla Hidrogo and (Jeremy) of Comanche, Texas; one great granddaughter,Lexie Reyna; and one half brother, Charles Lindsey of Broken Bow, Oklahoma.Morris is preceded in death by his parents, Morris Sr. and Gwen Lindsay.Family suggests Memorials be made to DC Andrews Scholarship fund C/O Sidney ISD, Sidney, Texas 76474. 254-842-5500Morris Sheppard Lindsey Jr., 80, passed away Friday November 10, 2011, in San Saba.
