7th Grade Dillos beat Junction 16-14 to finish the season 7-1-1

The 7th grade Dillos went to Junction last Thursday and defeated a tough Junction Eagle team. The game started off with a great drive led by the blocking efforts of Aj Paredez, Alan Martinez, Kutter Isham, Daniel Aragon, Zayne Rhodes and Jesus Vega, great job. At the end of the drive Elisha Cisneroz scored the touchdown, then the 2pt conversion was good with a pass from Chase Turner to Wyatt Deans to go up 8-0 in the game. The second touchdown was also scored by Cisneroz with a nice 20 yrd run up the middle. The 2pt conversion was good by Jose Guerrero to make the game 16-8. Other notable offensive performances were Colt Carlisle and Bryce Lewis. Defensively it was a great game as well. The score from Junction came with less than a minute to play in the game to make it 16-14. The 2pt conversion was stopped by a game winning solo tackle by Dalton Pierce to close the door on Junction. The Dillos defense had many good plays made by Kayden Siaz, Jayden Braja, Billy Holland and Braiden Johnson. The game finished with San Saba on the offensive side of the ball and kneeled in Victory for the remaining seconds of the game. The 7th Grade Dillos finished this season with a record of 7-1-1.
