Plans are coming together for the November Fellowship of Christian Women’s Luncheon in Cherokee’s First Baptist Church fellowship hall. Ladies of this church give the ladies of San Saba county a very special invitation to Cherokee next Thursday, November 17th, maybe even carpool. Please mark your calendars for ONE WEEK EARLY. Our luncheon will feature “Thanksgiving Favorites” so bring a family favorite to share around the serving tables. Ladies in their 30’s will be treated. A nursery for preschoolers will be available at the same church location. Do remember to bring food for your children if you wish for them to eat during the luncheon. Mrs. Pam Durst from Llano has agreed to come and share a special teaching she has titled, "The God of All Comfort." She teaches a women’s Bible class at her church and is currently the coordinator for the Llano Women’s Bible Study. Pam enjoys speaking at women’s retreats and facilitating Bible Studies. After 25 years in the field of social work, she retired to Llano to live on a ranch with her husband. Her favorite activity is visiting children and grandchildren in New York. Pam plans to share tips, some dos and some don’ts concerning this huge subject and states this talk is “full of humor.” Hope you will make your plans to come next Thursday to hear this precious teacher share from her heart.Plans are coming together for the November Fellowship of Christian Women’s Luncheon in Cherokee’s First Baptist Church fellowship hall.
