We have had no rain this past week but the temperature feels like the fall weather is here. We had frost last Friday morning and it got most of our plants. Our morning glories are gone. We do have a good chance for rain in the forecast. We start a new month. The 42 tournament will be in Mercury this Saturday night, November 12th. The Busy Bee quilters will resume on Tuesday of this week at Irene Hammett’s house. The community meeting will be on the 19th. The plans will be made for the Christmas party which will be December 17th. The Richland Springs Coyotes will be playing their first playoff game here Friday night against Buckholts. Good luck, Coyotes. Let’s bring home another State Championship! Marilyn Suber took her grand daughter, Georgia Tucker, to the Kids in the Kitchen program at Millican Pecan Company last Saturday. Georgia had a good time and plans to do it again if she can. They started the day early as Marilyn and Michael went to Brady for Georgia’s 8:00 AM basketball game then rushed back to San Saba in time for Georgia to bake cookies. Today is great grandson, Jesse Tucker’s, birthday. Hard to believe he is 8 years old already! We have had no rain this past week but the temperature feels like the fall weather is here.
