The annual Community Thanksgiving meal, sponsored by the Friends of San Saba, assisted by many local residents, will be on Thursday, November 24th 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Fathers House. This year besides pies, decorated cookies and cupcakes are needed. Desserts can be brought to the fellowship hall at the church on Wednesday afternoon (in disposable containers,) except refrigerated desserts, that need to be at the church Thursday morning.Workers are needed to take meat off turkeys (before Thursday,) help in the kitchen, prepare take out orders, prepare home delivery orders, deliver orders, and prepare food.
