Our relationship to God cannot grow and thrive apart from reading the Bible and hearing it taught. 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” In the Bible, God tells us who He is, who we are, and how we are to live. It’s where God encourages us, corrects us, challenges us, comforts us, and exhorts us. It’s where He offers Fatherly protection, warning his children about enemy territory and showing us how to avoid the devil’s land mines. And it’s where He gives us the power we need to press on and strain forward.God tells us in His Word that he will forgive our past, empower our present, and perfect our future.
