Tragic accident in San Saba County

Charles Pearce, 70 of Pottsboro, Texas was killed Sunday in an apparent hunting accident just off of CR 224. Sheriff Brown stated that the victim was in his hunting stand and died of a single gunshot wound to the chest.Justice of the Peace Les Dawson pronounced Pearce deceased and the victim was taken to Blaylock Funeral home pending funeral arrangements.Brown stated that the investigation into the accident continues and asks that everyone please pray for the victim's family.
