Thursday, November 3, 2011 • Posted November 3, 2011

The Dillos played their final home game this past Thursday against a very good Ozona team. The game was played in the rain and the cold all night long, with the Dillos coming out on top. The game started out as Chase Turner ran back the opening kickoff for 65 yrds and the 2pt conversion was good by Bryce Lewis. The next score was by Elisha Cisneroz on a 50 yrd scamper to the endzone, the 2pt conversion was good by Turner. On the next offensive possession Turner had a nice 60 yrd run to score. The 2pt conversion failed. The last offensive possession Elisha Cisneroz scored on a run up the middle with the 2pt conversion good by Colt Carlisle. None of these scores would have been possible if not for the great blocking of the line, AJ Paredez, Daniel Aragon, Zayne Rhodes, Kutter Isham, Alan Martinez and Jesus Vega. Other great offensive playmakers were Wyatt Deans and Jose Guerrero. Defensively the team played great. Kadyn Saiz who took control of the defense and made some great tackles led the defense. Jose Guerrero had a great fumble recovery to ensure the Dillos victory! Other great defensive standouts were Jayden Braja, Billy Holland, Dalton Pierce and Braiden Johnson. The Dillos won their last home game in a great battle in the worst weather conditions. Hats off to the efforts of the 7th grade Dillos and Congrats on the Win!!Next week the Dillos go to Junction @ 5 pm, for their last game of the season, come out and support these kids!!!The Dillos played their final home game this past Thursday against a very good Ozona team.
