Borchers, stepping in for an injured Fox, sailed it through the uprights bringing the score to 24-0. Seconds later Borchers intercepted a pass. With :30 remaining in the first quarter Trey Shannon sailed a 41 yard pass to Borchers in the end zone, bringing the score to 30-0. With 5:53 on the clock in the second quarter Labrador got his second interception of the night, running it back for another Indian score. Borchers’ PAT brought the score to 38-0. The Indians held the Mustang offense and with 1:23 remaining in the half Burnam Sloan intercepted a pass and ran it back for the Indians’ final touchdown of the game. Borchers’ PAT and a strong Indian defense closed out the game. Borchers and Sloan led the Indian defense. Labrador, whose two interceptions converted to two touchdowns, is the week’s Player of the Game. This week’s game versus Mullin will determine who goes to the playoffs! Please come out and support your Indians. The game will be in Mullin at 7:30. CHEROKEE READY?!!
