Thursday, October 27, 2011 • Posted October 27, 2011

The Richland Springs Coyote 3rd/4th grade pee wee tackle football team came up short on their bid to advance to the Six-Man Super Bowl by a score of 36-20. It was a hard fought back and forth struggle, but a late surge by Strawn proved to be the difference. Eli Salinas was the spark for the Coyotes as he returned a kickoff 45 yards and added two touchdown runs from 25 and 50 yards out. Lane Shannon added one PAT kick for the Coyotes. What a great season for these kids, they finished with a very impressive 5-1 record! Congratulations on a great season! Members on this years team were: Landon Burkhart, T.J. Grant, Izaiah Bessent, Lane Shannon, Eli Salinas, Elias Bessent, Chase Gossett, and Coach, Casey Gossett.
