Thursday, October 27, 2011 • Posted October 27, 2011

The Richland Springs Pee Wee Flag football team will play for the Six-Man Pee Wee Super Bowl this Saturday, October 29th, in Brookesmith. Kickoff is set for 9:00am. They advanced this past Saturday by beating the Gordon Longhorns by a score of 20-0! The Coyotes swarming defense kept the longhorns out of the end zone all day. The Coyote offense was led by Jayden Bryant. Jayden scored on a 15 yard touchdown run and caught a great touchdown pass from 22 yards away from Lane Garcia on a beautiful reverse throw back play. That play fooled the Longhorn defense and sealed the deal for the Coyotes. Matteo Faircloth was also a force to reckon with. Matteo scored on a great 51 yard run and added a PAT run for the Coyotes. Great blocking and swarming defense by all of the other Coyotes played a major role in the Coyotes victory! The Coyotes are now 5-0 and continue their quest for back-to-back Six-Man Pee Wee Flag Super Bowl Championships! This years team members are:Lane Garcia, Tyler Grant, Matteo Faircloth, Jayden Bryant, Keston Lusty, Brandon Stewart, Nick Nilson, and Robert Bench. Coaches Mondo Garcia and Wes Bryant. Come out and support our future Coyotes! GO COYOTES GO!
