Since the last update, the San Saba 3rd and 4th grade football team have defeated the Llano Yellow Jackets and the Lampasas Badgers. The game against the Jackets was the 1st home game ever for these players and they came out playing fired up in the rain. When the final seconds ticked off the clock, it was San Saba 28, Llano 6. The game on last Saturday was not as high scoring, but with the same results. San Saba pulled through against the Badgers with the final score of 12-6. This puts our overall record at 4 wins and 1 loss, with one game remaining in the regular season. We will play the Burnet Bulldogs on Saturday, October 29 in Lampasas at one o'clock. The Bulldogs are also 4-1, with the winner taking the 1st seed in the playoffs. We would also like to thank all the parents that helped at the home games, without their volunteer work we would have never been able to make it happen.
