Willynn Zulauf, 86, a lifetime resident of Cherokee, Texas passed away Tuesday October 18, 2011. She was born November 4, 1924 to Alva Keeney and Margie (Ray) Keeney in Cherokee, Texas. Willynn married John William Zulauf on August 12, 1945 in Cherokee, Texas; he preceded her in death on April 11, 1992. Also preceding are her parents and a grandchild. Mrs. Zulauf was of the Methodist faith, and she loved reading and sewing. Survivors include sons, John (Red) Zulauf of Cherokee, Texas; Sam Zulauf and wife, Tricia of North Carolina; Alva Zulauf and wife, Chris of Cherokee, Texas; daughters, Brenda Scott and husband, Jimmie of Llano, Texas; Sherri Johanson and husband, Lyndon of Lone Grove, Texas; brother, John Ed Keeney of Cherokee, Texas; sister, Wyvonn Parisher of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Scott, Sgt 1st Class Scott E. Scott, Jeannie Z. Alcalar, Joey Zulauf, Jennifer Pinkerton, Brooke Johanson, Tyler McCarver, Kallie Johanson, Jima Johanson, McKenzie Zulauf, Adam Armstrong, Donna Bradford ,Christopher Bradford and 15 great-grandchildren.Pallbearers were, RL Lehrer, Randy Gray, Jerry Light, Paul Henry Broyles, Bubba Norman and Ricky Don Parisher.Graveside Services were held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday October 22, 2011 at Kuykendall Cemetery in Cherokee, Texas with Reverend Thomas Bowden officiating.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center P.O.
