The San Saba 8th grade Dillos out scored the Sonora 8th grade Broncos by a score of 44-28 at Rogan Field last Thursday night. The Dillos ran the wishbone and controlled the ball most of the game while Sonora ran the spread offense and scored on passes. San Saba's Emiliano Rocha ran for 329 yards and David Valencia ran for 108 yards. Sonora kicked to San Saba to begin the game. Robby Hensley fell on the kick for the Dillos. The offense started with decent field position. Emiliano Rocha gained 12, David Valencia added 14, Rocha added 4, 16, and 5 and Valencia 5 more. Valencia scored on a 6 yard touchdown run.
