Thursday, October 20, 2011 • Posted October 20, 2011

The 7th grade Dillos played this past Thursday against the Sonora Colts and lost a hard fought game. The only offensive score came from Chase Turner on a good run around the end, which was set up from the blocking of AJ Paredez, Daniel Aragon, Kutter Isham, Jesus Vega, Alan Martinez, Zayne Rhodes, Braiden Johsnon and running backs Colt Carlisle, Elisha Cisneroz and Bryce Lewis. The Dillos had a tough time making yards against a stout Sonora team. Sonora scored most of their points on 3 big plays passing it deep. Defensively the Dillos played hard and had some success at slowing down Sonora’s 45-man 7th grade squad. There were some defensive standouts: Kadyn Saiz, Jayden Braja, Dalton Pierce, Jose Guerrero, Wyatt Deans and Billy Holland. Next week the 7th Grade Dillos travel to Coleman to reclaim victory against the Bluecats. Game starts at 5 @ Coleman.
