The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met October 13, 2011 for play day with the Chair for October, Anita Miles, who replaced Becky Hardin, called for a game of team play using the traveling four ball point system, 3 points for birdie, 2 points for par, 1 point for boggie, plus your handicap. The team of Sandee Hartley, Jo Anne Hardy, and Dorothy Sterner won over Anita Miles, Hattie Rogers, and Jo Ann Snow. Anita Miles was low gross and Jo Anne Hardy low net and she also won the putt pot. The ladies know their play days will soon be coming to an end with old man winter just around the corner so each week that they can continue to play makes everybody happy, even the losers. We are in constant pray for our beloved Bobbie Churchill with her serious health issues. At our age we know to praise the Lord for our health and well being! And we are all so thankful to be out on that beautiful San Saba River Golf Course just a ‘swinging!’The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met October 13, 2011 for play day with the Chair for October, Anita Miles, who replaced Becky Hardin, called for a game of team play using the traveling four ball point system, 3 points for birdie, 2 points for par, 1 point for boggie, plus your handicap.
