Gordon Collier Band to perform live at San Saba River Pecan Jam

"Hey I know you, you're that news guy!" That's right, you usually see Gordon Collier as the news anchor for KWTX-TV in Waco, and he can be seen there at 5, 6 and 10 p.m. on most week nights. But when the weekend rolls around, it's time for his first love, music. Gordon started playing the guitar at an early age, started his first band at the age of 15, and has been playing the Texas Honky-Tonks, at weddings, parties and concerts for over 30 years. The Gordon Collier Band has become the hottest, most requested band in Central Texas!The band has won numerous awards from the Music Association of Central Texas including Country Band of the Year (three times in the last four years), Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and band member Dave Blanton has won Bass Player of the Year and Founders Award. Gordon has also been a finalist in the Song Writer of the Year category.The band is out to prove that it is deserving of these honors. They give 110% on stage, giving you a mix of old songs that you haven't heard in a while, a few of your favorite dance tunes, and some original music that will be stuck in your head for days.
