Dear Editor:The issue, School Bond!I prefer not to get into personal attacks except face to face. So, I will make this brief. To my credibility, 51 years in the building business, I have built Chemical Plants, Sewer Plants, Condos, Apartments, and houses, contract and custom and schools and more.There is nothing at the school that cannot be repaired or remodeled, at a reasonable price. Since we have 2A for a very long time, I suggest that the school population has not changed much. Recent extravagant expenses and proposed expansion will put us much in debt and cause severe increases in taxes for a long time, putting financial burden on our kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.As for safety of our kids, we have 911, a caring school staff, a very caring police department, and the most active and fair sheriff and department I have known.Now things to consider and questions, some answered. :Is Randy (Tax man) waiting to tax us for the year past? Answer: Yes, "by Randy"!Are the people who get paid by the school voting yes? You answer.Is the school using money and time from our tax dollars to promote this? You answer.What is the collateral for this note or bond? (Tax Roll Property) yours?Is everyone informed to the financial condition of the lender? Federal Loan, 16 trillion dollars in debt.Do we have to pay interest on the money? We will be paying "low" interest on, by additional taxes to cover that massive debt.
