Ruffen Barefoot

Ruffen Barefoot, born January 31, 1955 joined our Heavenly Father October 10, 2011. He was born in Crane, TX, son of Nell Forman and the late W.R. Barefoot. He graduated from Stanton County High School in Johnson, KS in 1973 and then graduated from Amarillo College. He spent several years working in Amarillo then moved to Austin, TX where he started his own business, “Barefoot Boatworks”. He enjoyed fishing, boating, driving demolition derby, motorcycle riding, skiing and pretty much anything that had to do with the great outdoors. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.Ruffen was preceded in death by his father, W.R. Barefoot and his sister, Darnell Barefoot. Ruffen is survived by his mother, Nell Forman & stepfather, Chuck Forman, of Valley Spring, TX; his sister and brother-in-law, Debi & Lynn Scott of Johnson, KS; nephews, Matt Scott & family of Shattuck, OK; and Chantry Scott & family of Johnson, KS.
