The Texas AgriLIFE Extension Service and Scott & White Healthcare have partnered together to produce a health fair for San Saba and surrounding area residents. The health fair will be held Tuesday November 1st, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.at the San Saba Civic Center in Mill Pond Park.Screenings for cholesterol, blood sugar, hemoglobin (anemia screen) and blood pressure will be offered as well as flu shots. In addition to health screenings, exhibitors will have educational material on a variety of health topics ranging from diabetic and nutritional information, to safety and cancer awareness information. The San Saba Health Fair has been in existence at least 25 years. Its purpose is to help people have the medical information and screenings that they need.
