The Academic Booster Club of SSHS wants to announce a new spot in the trophy case at SSHS. This current school year, we have tried to highlight academic excellence, as the mantra for the club is "Encouraging Academic Excellence". The center section of the trophy case this year has been devoted to all students that scored in the commended level on all TAKS tests they took last year. An additional section is made for those that made a perfecto score on certain TAKS test last year.

We want to search for those students from the past years that scored a 30 on ACT or 1320-1350 on the SAT. It does not matter how long ago they went to SSHS. Now, we will even take these scores on just a portion of the ACT or SAT. This means that the overall score on the test would not register in this range for a total but in the Math or the ELA, your student scored at this level. We will then search to verify the score in our permanent records. Should we find that a certain claim is correct, you may then submit an 8X10 close up picture of the student and they will then be in the trophy case for years in the future.
