San Saba 7th Grade Dillos beat Goldthwaite 16-14

Last Thursday, the 7th grade Dillos went to Goldthwaite and played a great game. The game started off as a defensive battle, with both teams trying to shut the other out. But that would not happen as the Dillos came out in their second possession and marched the length of the field to go up by 6. The score was by Colt Carlisle, who was led by the great blocking efforts of AJ Paredez, Kutter Isham, Jesus Vega, Alan Martinez, Daniel Aragon, Zayne Rhodes and Braiden Johnson. The 2pt conversion was good by Carlisle. The second touchdown was also scored by Colt Carlisle on a short scamper into the endzone. The 2pt conversion was good by Chase Turner. Other notable offensive performances were Wyatt Deans, Bryce Lewis, Jose Guerrero and Elisha Cisneroz. Defensively the team was lead by the efforts of Kayden Saiz, Jayden Braja, Dalton Pierce who had a nice strip of the ball causing a fumble and Billy Holland also had a great game.Good Job 7TH Grade Dillos!!!Next Week the Dillos face The Harper Longhorns in Harper starting at 5 p.m. Come out and support these kids!Last Thursday, the 7th grade Dillos went to Goldthwaite and played a great game.
