Enjoy the 2011 Pecan Bottom Run and the Pecan Jam all in one day

Saturday, October 22nd marks the day of the 2011 Pecan Bottom Run at Mill Pond Park in San Saba, TX. There will be 10K, 5K and a 1 Mile Walk/Run. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. at the Gazebo and the race/walk will begin at 9 a.m.You can pre-register by 10/21/11 for a $15.00 fee or register on race day for a $20.00 fee.Prizes will be awarded for finishers in Male and Female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in the 10K, 5K and the Mile.There will be 13 age categories, 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.Free T-Shirts will be given to the first 100 entries.All proceeds will benefit the San Saba County 4-H Clubs.This event is sponsored by Texas AgriLife Extension Service.
