EZEKEIEL 28;15 "Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity wast found in thee. 17 Thine heart wast lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness, "

Also 2 Corinthians 3:4 " But if the gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. In whom Satan, the god of this world, hast blinded the minds of them who believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of CHRIST, who is the image of GOD, should shine unto them."

This is being written after a very lengthy study concerning the creation and destruction of Satan because of a thought a young preacher expressed to me. He said, "GOD surely made a serious mistake when HE created Satan." It took a lot of conversation and scripture to convince him that he was totally mistaken and to know that GOD knows all the past, present, and future; and cannot make a mistake. Every thing GOD does is perfect and a detailed study of scripture proves that GOD made Satan to be the strongest and most beautiful of all HIS angels. I will admit it is extremely difficult to find all the scriptures describing what we should know about Satan that will let us understand why GOD permitted him to have such unusual power. But we should know GOD is the , ("ALMIGHTY"), and HE has very strict procedures that HE never violates. There is nothing GOD cannot do; but everything HE creates is given complete freedom to be a free moral agent to choose the developement of their own future. That is the way GOD made you and the way HE made Satan too. Our text shows Satan had such beauty and power that he decided he should be equal to GOD. He let his pride overcome his wisdom, and my friends, we can make that same mistake. We must constantly try to hide our pride; or we cannot give the glory, respect, and praise that GOD rightly deserves. That is happening world wide right now and GOD has feelings that is hurting HIM so badly He is becoming angry enough to permit the unwanted events that are punishing us today.

Satan let pride decide and his future will be a disaster. If we let pride be our guide, we will not serve GOD and our future will not find salvation, and we will follow Satan in the end.
