Yep, the JV Coyotes hung a half a hundred on the JV Blanket Tigers by halftime last Thursday evening. There was little doubt on this one after Stanley Butler returned the opening kickoff 68 yards for a touchdown. The JV Tigers never really threatened, in fact, their offense actually gave up 4 points via two safeties. The Coyotes made it 14-0 at the end of the first quarter and then added 36 points in the second quarter to mercifully end the game on this rainy night(rain is that cool wet stuff that comes from the sky). Stanley Butler had three touchdowns, scoring on the long kickoff return and again on two other nice runs from scrimmage for touchdowns. Storm Teel was all over the field, returning punts, intercepting a pass, throwing( one for a TD) and catching passes and delivering punishing blows on defense. Justin Trevino threw a touchdown pass and ran for another and Dillon Parker nabbed a scoring pass and added 5 PATs for 16 points. Chris Munoz caught the last touchdown pass from Trevino and sacked the Tigers in the endzone for his 8 points. Jacob Cohn had a couple of nice runs and was solid on defense. Newcomer Wyatt Ramsey and Corey Turner represented themselves well on offense and defense. Final score Coyotes 50, Tigers 0.

The JV Coyotes improved their record to 2-1 and will travel to San Antonio this Friday with the Varsity to take on San Antonio FEAST.
