Down 60-70 at the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Indians’ game plan began to unravel. Multiple fumbles and missed tackles led to a 92-60 loss to the Lometa Hornets. E.J. Borchers led the Indians’ offense with six touchdowns. Stephen Austermann, Cham Fox

and Logan Lopez each had one touchdown. Leading the defense and the week’s Player of the Game was Payton Tatsch, who had a great performance offensively and defensively. The Indians will travel to Victory Life in Brownwood on Thursday to play the Comanche Paradigm Patriots. Come show your support for your Indians.

Cherokee JV Indians

The JV Indians lost a tough game against the Lometa Hornets. Leading 2-0 in the first quarter the Hornets went on to shut the Indians down, ending the game at 48-2.

Cherokee Junior High Indians

The JH Indians had another thriller this week against the Lometa Hornets. With only seconds left on the clock, Kerry Hamilton ran in his third touchdown of the night to bring the Indians to 32-34. The extra point was no good. Scoring along with Hamilton were Uriel Arredondo, who also intercepted

a Hornet pass, and Rolando Davis.
