Graveside services for Dorothy Lee Ivey Jones of Llano will be held Wednesday September 21, 2011 at the Llano City Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Gerald Moore officiating.

Dorothy was born March 8, 1926 in Dallas, Texas to Clara (Richey) Ivey and Emil Howell Ivey and died September 18, 2011 in Llano. She was married to M/Sgt. Russell T. Jones on April 10, 1943 in Medford, Oregon. Dorothy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary and was also a member of the First Christian Church in Llano.

Preceding her in death was her husband in 1985, parents, and sister, Doris Maywald in 2004.

Survivors include her children, Jeanette Lewis and husband Glenn, Towanna Gray and husband, J.D. of Llano, Texas; Russell (Bo) Jones of Glen Rose, Texas; Deborah Connors and husband, Mike of San Saba, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, one cousin, Norma Marlow and husband, Bernie of Livingston, Texas; brother-in-law, Steve Maywald of Tomball, Texas; and many friends.

Honorary Pallbearers include Eric Thompson, Eric Watson, Dwight Shafer, Codey Lewis, Jack Maywald, Steve (Scooter) Maywald, J.B. Jones and Zacky Jones.
