A child has only one shot at an education. Parent support and involvement is crucial at both school and at home. Three-week notices are being sent home this week. If your child receives a notice of concern, please contact your child’s teacher as necessary to ensure your child is successful. Kids need structure and guidance to be successful. Today’s students are our hope for the future. Let’s work together to make their future bright!
The junior high football team looked good in their scrimmage at Mullin last week. The junior high team should have a successful year if the Mullin scrimmage is any indicator of success. The junior varsity football team trounced Azle Christian by a score of 66-18. The varsity players enjoyed a 74-38 victory over Austin Hill Country. The Knights were a well-coached team and fought hard for 4 quarters. The cheerleaders did a great job! Both the junior high and junior varsity teams will play at Blanket beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. There will be a junior high pep rally Thursday at 12:40 in the gym.
