A child has only one shot at an education. Parent support and involvement is crucial at both school and at home. Three-week notices are being sent home this week. If your child receives a notice of concern, please contact your child’s teacher as necessary to ensure your child is successful. Kids need structure and guidance to be successful. Today’s students are our hope for the future. Let’s work together to make their future bright!

The junior high football team looked good in their scrimmage at Mullin last week. The junior high team should have a successful year if the Mullin scrimmage is any indicator of success. The junior varsity football team trounced Azle Christian by a score of 66-18. The varsity players enjoyed a 74-38 victory over Austin Hill Country. The Knights were a well-coached team and fought hard for 4 quarters. The cheerleaders did a great job! Both the junior high and junior varsity teams will play at Blanket beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. There will be a junior high pep rally Thursday at 12:40 in the gym. The varsity Coyotes will play Fellowship Academy at Coyote Stadium on Friday at 7:30 p.m. It is also Homecoming week! Class Homecoming court will be introduced at 7:00 p.m. prior to Friday’s game, and Homecoming Queen will be announced during halftime ceremonies. Homecoming pep rally will be downtown at 2:45 p.m. on Friday.

On September 27th, everyone is invited to Richland Springs’s Open House. The annual Book Fair will run from September 26-30.

The Richland Springs Coyote Booster Club now has a website. Their website is

www.rscoyoteden.weebly.com Every Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. the Coyote Booster Club meets at the Band Hall for FILM, FOOD & FELLOWSHIP. We eat a potluck meal, watch the past week’s film, hear Coach Burkhart’s comments and enjoy each others fellowship. Please remember that EVERYONE is ALWAYS welcome to attend! If you would like, please bring your favorite dish. The Booster Club will provide drinks. Please come and we will see you there next week!

It’s great to see our community supporting students in their efforts to achieve. We have a great community, students, teachers and staff. It takes everyone working together to achieve success. Thanks for all you do!
