Richland Springs High School celebrates homecoming

Homecoming week began with students wearing camouflage clothes to school on Monday so that the Coyotes can successfully hunt down the Mustangs. On Tuesday, students celebrated the week by dressing as twins. Any Mustangs looking would soon think they were seeing double. Wednesday, students celebrated with Beach Bash Day to send the Mustangs on a permanent vacation. Thursday, students dressed to kill for school pictures and to slaughter the Mustangs. Friday is Spirit Day, and everyone is asked to wear his/her Blue and White, the school colors, in support of the Coyotes.

Homecoming Queen Nominees for 2011 are: Sara Hedley, Senior; Cheyenne Tharp, Junior; DeAnna Grady, Sophomore, and there is no Freshmen nominee this year as there are no girls in the class.

Pre-game festivities will begin with a Mexican Food Supper sponsored by the One Act Play. The supper will be from 5:00 to 6:30 in the cafetorium, and the cost is a minimum donation of $5.00 per plate. The supper will be followed by the introduction of the Homecoming Court at 7:00 p.m. The Homecoming Queen will be announced at the halftime ceremonies.

The Homecoming Football Game against Fort Worth Fellowship Academy will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday night, September 16

th. Come out and celebrate Homecoming and support the Coyotes Friday night as they go for win number four. Homecoming Mexican Food Supper hosted by One Act Play, 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, September 16th, Richland Springs Cafetorium, $5.00 Minimum Donation.
