PROVERBS 9:10 " The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom : and the knowledge of the HOLY SPIRIT is understanding. "

This scripture may be the most needed information that our troubled world needs to possess and practice in an effort to cope with the disasterous happenings that we are facing today. It is not needful for the unusual disastrous events to be named. They are affecting millions of people in all walks of life in our present world, and are becoming extremely serious.

People are gathering in huge crowds, but all seem confused and do not know what to do. We do know prayer is seldom heard, or even mentioned. Is that a lack of GODLY fear, which would probably be the wisest thing to do? It is a shame to see our hughly educated politicians pour out great volumes of opinions, but never mention GOD. You have not even heard one of them mention the need of the HOLY SPIRIT to give understanding as shown in our scripture text. The wisdom of mere men is postively not going to stop or change any of these serious events. It is high time to know GOD is positively doing this, and HE never does anything without a good reason. And let me add that HE will not stop any of the unwanted until HIS reason is accomplished. Let me also add that the most foolish thing we can postively do would be to critisize GOD. If HE created and made the Heavens and the earth as I believe; HE surely knows the best thing to do to show He really is Almighty GOD, and what HE is doing may cause some to turn from their greed and turn back to HIM. My own faith makes me believe too much of the world is turning from GOD and HE is hurting so badly that HE is becoming angry enough to let what we are seeing to happen. You are not the Christian that you should be if all this is not hurting you. All true Christians will automatically know GOD will forgive and return our happiness if we will only give HIM the respect and praise that is way over due. Let us all do that and watch our troubles quickly fade.
