Christopher Perez passed away on Friday, September 9th,

2011 in Temple, Texas. He was 43 years old.

Chris was born November 16, 1967, in San Saba, Texas to

Joe C. Perez and Julia Coronado Perez. He lived in San Saba all of his life.

Chris loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. He liked to

play horse shoes with his friends and go canoeing.

Chris is preceded in death by two uncles, Antonio Ortiz,

Daniel Herrera and one niece Maribel Ortiz. He is survived by his parents, Joe C. and Julia Perez of San Saba; sisters, Geneva Ortiz and Suzana Lopez of San Saba; Mary and Arthur Bird of China Springs; and Frances and Manual Burciago, of Senora; brothers, Joe Alvin and wife, Mary Perez of Goldthwaite; Lorenzo Perez and Jacob Perez of San Saba; three uncles, Apolonio and wife, Susan Coronado of San Saba, Herminio and wife, Virginia Coronado of Goldthwaite; and Prudenico and wife, Mary Coronado of Lampasas; four aunts, Antonia and husband, Luis Torres of Lometa; Juana Coronado ,Dale Guerrero, Domiana and husband, Rudy Martinez, of San Saba.; numerous nieces and nephews; and eight special friends who were always there for him.

Visitation was held from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm with Rosary being held from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba. Services were held Monday at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in San Saba. Interment followed at City

Cemetery in San Saba.
