Saturday, September 17, 2011 San Saba County will hold a fundraiser for Bastrop fire victims. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the south side of the Courthouse Square. Free hot dogs and Dr Pepper.

Skeebo Norris, General Manager and Wayne Gatliff, Sales Manager of KNUZ Radio will do live broadcasts in front of G&R Grocery.

Dropoffs can be made at Commercial National Bank and G&R Grocery. Checks should be made out to BCMA (Bastrop County Ministerial Alliance). All donations go directly to people who have losses. Money is most needed but other items needed are shovels, rakes, chain saws, curling irons, hair dryers, cell phones w/minutes, visors and hats, diapers, gloves and first aid supplies.

Money, checks and supplies will be delivered directly to the Bastrop Convention Center by KNUZ Radio, San Saba Texas - Skeebo Norris and Wayne Gatliff.

Food is being donated by Harry's, Arrowhead Bank, San Saba Pecan, McKinnerney Real Estate, KNUZ Radio, La Grange Broadcasting, Wayne Gatliff, G&R Grocery, Hoffpauir Auto Group, Skeebo Norris, Central Texas Telephone, Mills County State Bank, HOT Ford (Brady) and Hamrick's Automotive.
