Fall Community Ed classes at LCHEC

Sign up for a community education class at the Lampasas County Higher Education Center (LCHEC). There's a lot to choose from. Creative Writing with author Jaycee Clark starts on September 6 and meets on Tuesdays through November 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuition is $165.

Advanced Drawing with artist and art consultant Nancy Gray starts on Tuesday, September 13 and meets twice a week - Tuesdays and Thursdays - through October 14 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuition is $99 plus supplies. A supply list is available by calling LCHEC at 512-556-8226.

English as a Second Language classes start up again. Lee Griffith will teach Beginning Workplace English starting Monday, August 29, meeting Mondays and Wednesdays fro 7 to 8:30 p.m., through October 19. Tuition is $72. Textbooks will be provided.

Intermediate/Advanced Workplace English will meet Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30-7 p.m., starting on September 12 and running through November 2. Lee Griffith will teach this course. Tuition is $72. Textbooks will be provided.

Get in shape with Fitness Walking, led by Nancy Gray. This class will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 6 to 7:30 a.m., from September 12 through October 14. Tuition for this course is $99.
