Doug and Cyndi Suggs spent several days in the Smoky Mountains recently. They enjoyed six days at a workshop called Polishing the Pulpit. No they didn’t learn how to dust! It was very spiritually uplifting. They also enjoyed time in the mountains themselves. Before returning they went to Chattanooga, Tennessee and picked up Doug’s mother. She is now visiting with them. She is not sure how long she will be here. The trees and grass were green in Tennessee and it was not so hot.

Jeremy and Sheila Suggs spent last Sunday visiting with Doug, Cyndi and Jeremy’s grandmother Lois Suggs.

Robert Baugh and Wayland Dobbs went bear hunting in New Mexico and then did some Ropes Course Training with a group of students from Lubbock Christian University.

Dan and Esther Cox and Seth Hahn spent the weekend in Abilene visiting with family. They enjoyed playing Nertz and eating birthday cake.

Delton and Valerie McGuire have moved into town, and into the Cherokee Home Director’s house. Valerie is busy unpacking and hanging curtains and all that goes with it. So happy to have them in town.

Keith and Keri Davis had lots of family visiting with them last weekend. They celebrated birthdays and weddings and anniversaries.

Mozelle Boultinghouse had a visit from her sister recently.

Carmen and Howard Jenkle recently went to visit with Howard’s mother in Illinois.

Andy and Susan Broyles celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary! They had a big party. They had pot luck at the Church of Christ after Sunday morning services!!!

Doug and Cyndi Suggs celebrated their 43rd anniversary. They went to Dairy Queen!
