The new GO TEXAN app for iPhone helps you find restaurants committed to serving locally produced items – everything from traditional Texas barbecue to award-winning wines and seasonal produce. The app will find GO TEXAN restaurants based on your location or it can search for restaurants by city name. You also can search for restaurants based on cuisine, and even save a list of your favorite dining establishments.

The GO TEXAN app for iPhone allows you to share restaurant details and locations with your friends by text or email, and also share your location with your Facebook friends and Twitter followers. Soon you’ll be able to access additional information for Texas products and businesses, including wineries, farmers markets, pick-your-own farms, nurseries, florists, events, recipes and coupons.
