There's a pillar in Trafalgar Square in London. On top of it is a statue of Britain's naval hero, Lord Nelson.

But it's up so high you can't see his features. So in 1948 an exact replica was made and placed at eye level. Now everyone can see him. That's what God did at Christmas. He came down from heaven and was born of the Virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life to show us what He's like -- in Jesus.

He humbled Himself even further, going so far as to die on a cross for us.
