Minnie Kathrine Litton passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011 in San Saba, Texas at the age of 89. She was born in San Saba to Buster Theodore Sutton and Martha (Blackwood) Sutton on December 27, 1921. Kathrine married John Litton on April 22, 1939 in San Saba. Fishing was her passion and she enjoyed playing bingo. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in San Saba.

Survivors are six children, Barbara and husband Doc Fisher of Richland Springs, TX; Johnny Litton and wife, Genvea of Copperas Cove, TX; Mary Boswell and husband Sonny of San Saba, TX; Gary Litton of Temple, TX; Philip Litton of Copperas Cove, TX; Donna Moehrig and husband Mike of Sutherland Springs, TX; one surviving brother, Earl Ray Sutton of Bend, TX; 26 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Minnie is preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Martha Sutton; husband, John H. Litton; son, Leon Litton; 6 sisters and 3 brothers. In lieu of flowers memorials are asked to be made to the Richland Springs Fire Department

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in San Saba with interment at China Creek Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Homes of Texas, Inc., Brady, Texas.
