Texas AgriLife Extension will sponsor a Pecan Weevil Workshop on Tuesday August 16

Mr. Bill Ree, Extension Pecan Program Specialist, will be the speaker. Bill has been a real asset to Pecan producers in San Saba County for many years. In our drought conditions it is difficult to plan for weevils be a problem. However, late rains will trigger their destruction. Please plan to come and welcome Bill to San Saba. It is not necessary to RSVP. All you need do is attend. There will be a Partial Cost Recovery fee of $10.00. Please contact the San Saba County Extension office if you have questions. 372-5416.
