1.The first day of school will be August 22,

2.REGISTRATION for kindergarten students will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2011.

REGISTRATION for all other NEW students will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on the same day. These students will need to bring their birth certificate, social security card and immunization record. New students should also bring their last report card and check out sheet from the previous school.

3.A date has not been confirmed for scheduling class schedules for students in 9

Students in grades 6

5.The school will not be purchasing insurance for the students. Insurance will be available if you would like to purchase it for your child. The insurance information will be sent home with your child on the first day of school.

2011. Classes will begin at 8:00 a.m. and dismiss at 3:30 p.m.th through 12th grades. We will post the information on the Cherokee ISD website under Announcements. The internet address is http:// www.cherokeeisd.netth through 8th will not need to sign up for classes as their schedules are set.
