San Saba High School Dilloettes earn Super Sweepstakes

The SSHS Dilloettes attended camp at the YO Ranch in Kerrville last week. They learned 5 routines in 3 days and a had a great bonding experience. They were among 7 other schools and over 150 dancers. The ladies received a Super Sweepstakes trophy in which they had to be on time for every scheduled event, receive Division I ratings in each night’s evaluations and make a Positive Overall Impression on the Danceline Staff. The team also received the Outstanding Team High Kick award.

Erin Edmondson & Kayla Kutin won top honors during a High Kick Challenge. They were among 54 dancers competing in the challenge in which Kayla Kutin received a medal for 3

The ladies also attended many seminars on leadership and team building. During one seminar, the ladies had to vote on a fellow team member that was a great leader but did not hold an officer title. Erin Edmondson was voted by her teammates as the Team MVP.

Paige Chambers, Paige Faught and Joely Haverland were among those selected for the prestigious Danceline Elite traveling squad. They have an opportunity to travel to Branson, MO., New York, and Cozumel to perform with Danceline Elite.

We would like to say a special Thank You to Elizabeth Chambers for driving the bus. We had an amazing week and came away winners in more ways than bringing home trophies and ribbons. The Dilloettes look forward to showing off their new squad and supporting our Dillos.
