Saturday, August 6, 2011, the Freemasons of San Saba Lodge No. 612 will hold their monthly stated meeting. Max Steger will provide the main course meal of pork steak, which will be served at 6:30 p.m. Members are asked to bring a complimentary covered side dish, bread, salad or dessert. Lodge will begin around 7:00 p.m. All members are encouraged to attend.

Dewey Mack Cason, the outgoing junior Past Master, will be honored that evening during the meeting. Brother Cason was made an EA 10-19-1972, FC 9-20-1973 and MM 10-29-1973 at White Settlement Lodge No. 1372. He will receive his Past Master's certificate and a special gift from the Lodge in recognition for his service and contributions.

San Saba Lodge continues to celebrate its 125th anniversary. This year as the former Richland Springs Lodge No. 882 is now part of San Saba Lodge, a mention of the Past Masters is given as part of the historical record.
