Morgan Gilger and Ross Williams of San Saba held off the competition to make a pretty good showing in the Team Roping at the Texas High School Rodeo Finals in Abilene Texas last week.

Out of 100 teams from the 10 Regions in Texas, Ross and Morgan were 8.7 in the first round putting them right in the middle of the hunt, came back on Thursday morning in the second round and they were 7.6, landing them in fourth place coming back to the short round on Short Round Sat.

On Saturday night, they landed 5th in the short go, putting them in a solid 5th in the average and leaving the Team 6th in the State of Texas after the dust settled. Ross Williams also finished the week 15th in the Tie down Roping.
